The Story

There's a door at the top of the stairs that wasn't there yesterday.

Billy is nine, lonely, and asks snails for directions. Beblu is a teenage alien from a distant star system, calm as anything, and gives out points for good questions. Together they're about to discover that the universe is much bigger — and much weirder — than either of them imagined.

Billy & Beblu

The Meeting

It starts in a garden in October with a silver disc, one very confused woodlouse, and a question no one's ever asked properly. By the time the sun goes down, Billy will have met someone from another planet, learned about a points system he didn't consent to, and stood in front of a door that shouldn't exist.

A warm, witty, slightly cosmic story about curiosity, friendship, and the kind of questions that get you eleven points.
